Are you looking for support in your relationship or personal life? I provide sex therapy for individuals and relationships, offering a safe space to explore sexual health, emotional well-being, anxiety, and/or depression. Whether you're facing intimacy struggles, communication challenges, navigating life transitions, starting a family, I am here to help. If you feel we might be a good match, I’d be glad to connect and discuss how I can support you in building deeper connection and greater well-being.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with over 15 years of experience in the field. I work from a collaborative approach taking into consideration the whole family system. I am a Certified Sex Therapist through American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists, focusing on sexual health for an individual or relational system.

I understand how challenging it can be to seek support, and I want you to know that I do not judge. I am open-minded, approachable, and dedicated to creating a safe, comfortable space where you feel free to talk about difficult topics. I look forward to hearing from you and supporting you on your journey toward healing and growth.

My Education & Experience

Hello! I’m Jeanette.

I hold both an undergraduate degree in psychology and a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT). I also am a certified Sex Therapist through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists.

During my undergraduate studies, I began working in community mental health, where I gained valuable experience that helped me decide what I wanted to study. I chose to pursue MFT because I had a great interest in working with family systems.

In my work with families, I was initially drawn to help young children, which led me to create a more specific focus on parent management. This eventually shifted into working directly with parents, and then to focusing solely on couples by the time I opened my psychotherapy practice in 2016.

Working exclusively with couples over many years opened my eyes to the fact that individuals need more comfortable, shame-free spaces to discuss their sexual health and needs! Because of this, I decided to pursue a sex therapy certification in 2019. As a certified sex therapist, I now support both couples and individuals in my practice, and I offer targeted strategies to improve the health and well-being of my clients, including sexual health and relationship support.
